Are you a Master Builder?
Bricktober–Perth is pleased to announce the ‘JUNIOR BUILDER DISPLAY’ for LEGO® Fans 15 years and under.
Display Rules & Conditions
If you are UNDER 16 years old, you now have the chance to display at Bricktober-Perth. If you are 16 years and older, you must have applied as a Full Exhibitor for the show.
Unfortunately, all 16+ Exhibitor spaces are now filled for 2022.
Junior Builder Categories
There are two categories of Junior Builders
Individual – One Builder for the display (with one Parent/Guardian to supervise the display at the show)
Group – Up to Four Builders for the display (with up to two Parent/Guardians to supervise the display at the show).
The same sizing options are available for both Individual and Group Builders.
Application
The link to the Junior Builder Application to display can be found at the end of these conditions. For a Group Build each builder must complete their own application (using the same Display Name).
Please read the full Junior Builder conditions before completing the application. A list of information required to complete the application is provided below to assist with completing the form and it is suggested you have all this information available before starting the application process.
There is a section on the application form where you can upload 1 (ONE) photo of your display – even if the display is partially completed. Each photo must be smaller than 2mb. Only forms with at least one photo will be considered. Any applications with photoshopped images will be disregarded.
Once you have submitted your Junior Builder Application and it is approved you will receive a confirmation email. If you have not received an email response by 12 September, please check your Junk Email folder. We will endeavour to email applicants within 10 business days of receipt of the application, but this is not always possible.
Applications to display as a Junior Builder will close at 11.59pm on Sunday 11September or some earlier time once space is filled. No late applications will be accepted. The Bricktober-
Perth organising committee reserves the right to close the applications once the display allocation is full.
About your Display

Requirements to Display
Junior Builders are ONE DAY display builders – you can display on Saturday 8th October or Sunday 9th October.
Your exhibit is required to be set up between 7.30am – 8.00am on the day you display, as our Sensory sessions begin the day at 8.30am.
There will not be an opportunity to build your display at the display table so the display should come in one piece or a couple of easily connected pieces. The display must remain at the show for the full day and you must commit to a minimum of 4.25 hours at the show supervising your display – either Morning 8am – 12.15pm or Afternoon 12noon – 4.15pm.
The show finishes at 4.15pm each day and your display is to be taken away at the end of the day you display.
Arrive and Setup Display – Between 7.30am – 8.00am (through the side door – will be signposted). Junior Builder and Parent/Guardian to sign in and collect wristband (all) and badge (Junior Builder only).
Photograph – All Junior Display Builders to have a group photo taken at 8.00am on day of displaying
Display – The display will remain at the show for the full day. You and your Parent/Guardian (Over 18) will supervise your display for a minimum of 4.25 hours on the day of display. Bricktober-Perth Volunteers will man your display for the other ‘shift’ of the day. You can stay all day if you wish and explore the rest of the show. You cannot bring your display for 4.25 hours and then leave with your display at midday nor can you bring your display in at midday to only display in the afternoon.
Packup Display and depart – After 4.15pm (through the front doors). Junior Builder and Parent/Guardian to sign out
All Junior Builders MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian (over 18) at all times and that adult is responsible for the children at the display and in their care. Junior Builders cannot be left in the display area on their own.
Appropriate photos may be uploaded by the committee to Bricktober–Perth’s Facebook page and Flickr account, and may be used in promotional material on our web sites, Facebook pages and other related outlets for the purposes to promote the event and any future events. In displaying at Bricktober-Perth, you agree to allow us to use those images.
